The Jason Scoop Version Of Polish Potato Pancakes
Ingredients
4 Potatoes
1 Onion
All Purpose Flour
Curry Powder
Salt
Vegetable Oil
3 Eggs
Cooking Instructions
In a large bowl, grate 4 potatoes.
Grate 1 medium sized onion.
Add 3 eggs.
6 tablespoons of Flour.
1/2 teaspoon of curry powder.
1 teaspoon of salt.
Mix all the ingredients that are I the bowl till ya get a good potato pancake consistency (not too dry; not too wet).
In a large skillet, heat up the vegetable oil covering the bottom.
With a large serving spoon: scoop out a spoonful of the potato mixture and place it into the skillet and the heated oil.
Turn the pancake over (ONLY WHEN) the edges of the pancakes are golden brown.
When cooked, place the pancakes on a plate, then pat the pancakes with a paper towel to remove all the excess cooking oil.
