Karen Bergreen's Recipe for the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever

INGREDIENTS 

  • 2 sticks of butter

  • 1 cup of brown sugar

  • 3/4 cup of white granulated sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

  • 1-1/2 teaspoons of sea salt

  • 1 teaspoon of Arm & Hammer baking soda

  • 1-3/4 cup of all-purpose flour

  • 1 bag of chocolate chips

  • 1 piece of parchment paper per cookie sheet cut to size

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 

  2. Place the 2 sticks of butter in mixing bowl till soft then mix till creamy.

  3. Add the brown & white Sugar, eggs (well beaten), vanilla, sea salt, baking soda, flour, and chocolate chips in with the butter and continue mixing till the mixture takes on a batter form.

  4. Prepare cookie sheets with the cut to size parchment paper.

  5. Take a full tablespoon of cookie batter and place it on the cookie sheet 3 across making a sheet of 12 cookies.

  6. Place in oven and bake for 12-15 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven and enjoy the best chocolate chip cookies you’ve ever tasted!
